Columbus Man vs. Columbus Man 4.0

Columbus Man #1:
"I am heart broken he chose this path and ended his life leaving behind his child(ren). May be rest in peace."

Columbus Man #2:
"If they take their own life then they have given up and their memory will be in those closest to them, but soon will be a distant memory - life continues with or without them. Learn from life lessons, make better decisions and move forward to a better tomorrow."

Some are Democrats because they were brought up that way.

Some are Democrats because for tradition or fail to see that the party has deserted them.

Some are Democrats because they have different solutions to problems (although they are mistaken).

Some Democrats' hearts are in the right place, but they lack an understanding of things or their priorities are on certain issues, but they fail to see the proper solutions.

Some are Democrats because they want the ability to have abortions, buy into the lies of being victims, think that allowing people to do harmful things like homosexuality and other things they want to do is love, want the government to provide them with things, and want what they can get and so forth.

Some are Democrats because they buy the lies that are told to them by the Dems, liberal media, Hollywood, wacko websites etc.

Many just don't get it, while others are just evil or self-serving.

Looks like Bob Freeman (Joanna) is editing and deleting comments again on Columbuzzed.
Typical behavior for that bag of bilge.
I saw him at a restaurant last Friday evening. He is a disgusting man. It sickened me so much that I canceled my order and ate elsewhere.

The admims over there say they don't want personal attacks or nastiness, but look at some of the comments. Good example is the two women going back and forth with accusations over a dead baby for God's sake. They thrive on drama, yet fear criticism of themselves.

I think she bumped her head too.

Oh Josh...do you know the circumstances? We were sucessful in a civil case against her for harassment and the damages done. She was FAR from a peace-loving Pentecostal woman. When her husband found out the truth, he divorced her. and her kids didn't want anything to do with her.
Josh, next time know the story before you pass-judgement. You know nothing about this female..who BTW, this peace-loving "Pentelcostal" female, was barred from her church.

Do they honestly think that just because they're 'anonymous' that they can't be sued?

I didn't think at first Bob was Joanna, but the sarcasm, and the "tone" of Joanna's post, echo Bob Freeman. I've often thought of using a different name on here, but it's hard to change your "tone" after a time. At first, Joanna didn't post much, but since Bob left, Joanna has come out more often.

You have an extremely short attention span. You would be scolded constantly by Joanna and then you would run to your buddy Bob. You wanted him to tell us what a good writer you were and how you went all the way to Indianapolis on a donkey to speak before the legislature. He never would so you would just tell us again and again.

Looking at the photos of that website, it shows that the ones baptizing Bob are also being baptized BY Bob. ??????????????????? What in the world kind of church does that?

Oh, and Bob never gave up the Internet....you can bet on that.

That's because it is mostly a slam site where people with grudges can put anything they want out there. They do really know what it means to be journalists. They don't research, investigate, get comments from the other side, and certainly cannot spell or write properly. They simply offer a place for people with axes to sharpen their blades. Sure, it gets some people there to read, but it is at others' expense. Some read for the laughs, some read so they can try to keep them honest here (good luck with that, it is a tough job), and sadly some intellectually-challenged gossip mongers believe everything there.

Found this comment on another website. Seems appropriate regarding Columbus Man:

Why Do People Enjoy Being Internet Trolls?
It is a kind of power rush or ego trip to be a troll. Being online is a place that is largely free of perceived consequences... an insecure person can get a sense of power online, without ever having to face someone directly. With the Internet being a world of imagination and fantasy for some, cowardly users can forge an alter ego for themselves, and act out their feelings of anger and inadequacy. It's sad and unfortunate that our advanced communications also brings out the darker side of many people.

Dude, I have a question for you...how can I ask you. You're the only one on here, who I know to ask for advice. I want to keep this betwn us. I know you're intelligent...

Dude said...

"Not sure what spin doctoring means"

From wikipedia:
In public relations, spin is a form of propaganda, achieved through providing an interpretation of an event or campaign to persuade public opinion in favor or against a certain organization or public figure. While traditional public relations may also rely on creative presentation of the facts, "spin" often, though not always, implies disingenuous, deceptive and/or highly manipulative tactics.

Politicians are often accused by their opponents of claiming to be honest and seek the truth while using spin tactics to manipulate public opinion. Because of the frequent association between spin and press conferences (especially government press conferences), the room in which these take place is sometimes described as a spin room. A group of people who develop spin may be referred to as "spin doctors" who engage in "spin doctoring" for the person or group that hired them.

"San Antonio has an awesome Mayor, but your Governor, really is delusional"

Sorry to burst your bubble, but I'm not a big fan of my governor. Also, Houston has a pretty good mayor too.

"I, too call it like I see it, and I don't trust Romney."

Do you trust Obama at this point?

"Politicians are only out for themselves"

I believe this is correct, for the most part, although I have seen a few exceptions. But do you believe this about Obama? I do.

I don't think he is. He gives a lot of money to charity. In my opinion, Obama is a narcissist.

Yea, but Obama doesn't have any bank accounts, which he has dodged paying taxes. Who had a 12 million elevator installed in their house...for cars??? Obama could have chosen to work for any lucrative law firms, but instead, he went back to help rebuild southern neighborhoods in Chicago after the steel business went broke. I dont think Romney knows or understands hard working middle class folks.
while in office, the First Lady built and included children how to put out a garden. I talked w Ibama, and he made me feel so at ease.

We all have opinions. It will be a very tight race...more so than in 08. But 08 was a very unique race. It's imperative Romney wins the first debate. Romney appeals to the wealthy. We shall find out soon, who gets the nod.

Why is it you went along with them for a long time while they attacked several people, but then when they attack people you like, people you know and yourself, you want it shut down? It was just as wrong when they attacked others, but you went along with them and I believe even justified it.

Anonymous said...

"I don't want government in control of my vagina."

So you feel that your being able to sleep around (if you choose) without paying the consequences if you get knocked up is more important than protecting an innocent child's life?

Just like I'm sure you don't want the govt. telling you HAVE to have a vasectomy.

That is not the same. They are not taking away your ability to have children, just not letting you murder them. Are not the fathers also a parent of the children. Shouldn't they get a say on whether the child lives or dies? I realize that women are the ones who have to carry them around and give birth to them, but that is the way it is and women know that before they have sex. I am not condoning pre-marital sex, but it isn't like there aren't a lot of birth control options out there and many can be received confidentially and free. If you have the ovum to sleep with someone, then have the ovum to use birth control.

"I, too call it like I see it, and I don't trust Romney."

Romney is unproven in the trustworthiness department politically even though he seems to have shown honor in aspect of his life.

I feel that Romney is hiding a bunch of money. Even his father told him to show at least several years of tax return.

Feelings aren't always accurate. Romney did show tax returns and they showed a lot of things said he might have done were lies and he in fact overpaid taxes and gave a lot to charity. How much has Obama given? Why won't he show his college transcripts?

I do trust Obama. Romney has been a flip-flopper. Not sure if Obama has.

Did not Obama flip flop on gay marriage? Surely you heard about that. To make matters worse, I don't think that he changed his mind, but only changed his position because it was politically expedient.

I gotta digest the spin thing.

Be careful of indigestion.

I feel that Obama can relate to the middle class better than Romney. Romney is a snob, and its been caught on tape.

I don't agree. Romney made his fortune by working hard. He wasn't born with money. He didn't get benefits because he was black. Even so, what difference does it make if you can relate better if you don't do anything about it. Romney has given a lot to charity. How much has Barry? Romney volunteered and helped. How much has Barry? I believe that Romney was talking about the people who take advantage of the system and the ones who refuse to help themselves. He has been shown to help the less fortunate. If he had the attitude being attributed to him, he wouldn’t have done so.

You would have thought you would have known at the time. Were you on drugs? JK

I talked w Ibama, and he made me feel so at ease.

That is a primary difference in conservatives and liberals. You all go off of feelings which can betray. We go off of logic and intellect. The antichrist someday will make people feel good, but he is evil. I am not saying that Obama is he, but it is food for thought. Swindlers can make people feel good while they steal their money. Silver-tongued foxes can make you feel good while they cheat on you. "Ibama". Great name for him because it is "I', "I", "I".

We all have opinions. It will be a very tight race...more so than in 08. But 08 was a very unique race. It's imperative Romney wins the first debate. Romney appeals to the wealthy. We shall find out soon, who gets the nod.

This will be the first election in which I will vote. I have only been into the world and politics for a short time and wasn't going to vote, but feel it is imperative we get Obama out and turn this country around before it is too late.

The Buzz needs to be shut down. They have done some terrible things, and Im sick of it. This last melt down were blatant lies. I have so much on my plate, n really dont need the stress

It too you long enough to get to the party and it took you and your friends receiving the infamous Columbuzz treatment for you to change your mind. Others of us were able to get there when we saw other people receive the treatment without having to receive it ourselves to get us to form our opinions. Didn't Columbuzz make you feel good before? That goes to show you how feelings can deceive.

Oh yea...what makes you convinced bob is joanna?? Funny how bob is so adamant about NOT being joanna...

I hope he's not, but it isn't like he hasn't used other names before and lied about it to further his agenda. I hope he has changed and have been pulling for him, but some things certainly sound like the old Bob.

pro choice does not mean I condone abortion. Ibama was a typo BFD..And I have voted before. I dont need to repeat the numerous surgeries Ive had.

Ooh, kinky, PJ. Seriously, what a wonderful response that shows how you respond to things when you have no leg to stand on. YOU said you didn't want them in control of your vagina. Is that not what you meant? You want (you in earlier times and others now) to be able to sleep with whomever you choose and if you / they get pregnant then just murder the baby so it doesn't cramp your style? So, you are saying that murder is fine as long as it lets you sleep around as much as you want with no fear of any consequences?

I have already had a few comments I could make to you to respond to you in the manner you did to me. Believe me, I could really insult you. I am not going to do so, but it isn't because I can't. I will, however, take my intellect over yours any day. Pro choice IS allowing women to choose to murder because they get pregnant which generally means they were having unprotected sex.

You keep going on about babies conceived in rape. There are very few of those. That is just a way to to try to justify murder. Even so, does that make murder okay? What did the baby do? A baby can be put up for adoption in those situations. Most women who were raped suffer regardless of whether or not they get pregnant. Even the ones who do will suffer after the abortion and possibly much longer because most women have the maternal instinct and know that murdering a baby is wrong. I also suspect that most people arguing for abortion wouldn't agree with legislation that said that it was only allowable under medical necessity or rape. That is just a smokescreen so they can sleep around. If such a law were passed, I can imagine the accusations of rape would go up too because they would want to still murder the babies instead of paying the piper.

Yeah, you voted the last election because your Dr. Feel Good was running. I don't know that you voted before that or much at all. I am not going to argue Romney's and Obama's records with you except to say that Obama has had nearly 4 years to make things better and they are worse. To make matters worse, the results and consequences of many of the things he has done won't show up for a while in the same way that people can put all sorts of things on their charge cards and not have to pay the piper until later.

I don't care what type of approval you need, what our opinions of you affect you etc. It is obvious now as it was before that talking logically and having rational discussions with you is a hit and miss proposition depending on what mood you are in. Once again, you lash out and throw a little temper tantrum. I have no insecurities that make me pick on you. I am not picking on you. You must think highly of yourself to put such a degree of importance on yourself. I hope you never have a grandchild or loved one get aborted because their parents are selfish, evil murderers.

Even though I feel smoking is a nasty habit that people choose and is also harmful to them, I am not one to think I should force them to stop. However, I do feel those of us who don't smoke have a right to not be exposed to the smell (which also sticks with you) and the danger to our lives. I used to work with smokers and am glad they put the smoking ban in place. If someone is so darned hooked on it that they can't make it without it during a meal or something, they have problems. I have no problems with them smoking on breaks or whenever IF they do so in a place that isn't going to hurt non-smokers who SHOULD have a choice.

At work, we had smokers who had to go take a smoke break every hour or so, hooked much? This affected their productivity, but that is another topic. However, I shouldn't be forced to be exposed to smoke. If their choice only affected them, then they could smoke wherever they want. Now, I am not sure I am for forcing businesses to being smoke free in some ways. I think perhaps businesses should make that call. I won't patronize them, but that is their choice. The only thing that bothers me is the employees, but I guess they can choose to work there or not.

Funny, I see Romney as extremely arrogant, born w a silver spoon in his mouth! He has no clue on foreign affairs, remember when Romney was gov of Mass., his unemployment rate was 47th in the states!!! If he can't do better than that in ONE state, what's he going to pull out of his hat?? You're funny DM. At least Obama didn't create any wars, like the last administration, and he got Bin Laden...not to mention the horrible deficit created by the Bush era...c'mon on now...REALLY??? Didn't need footprints, just one AC 130. Or an armed drone. Ridiculous that one was not available after all of the warning signs. Incompetence.

"I'm not crazy about a Mormon being Pres..."

So much for Democrat religious tolerance. I'd bet many people weren't crazy about a Catholic president either.

As a community organizer? Not likely. BTW, Romney could have just bought an island and retired.

I'll let you read up on Obama's merits in education.
The news of Romney's grand addition was in the magazine called "THEWEEK," which is a bi-part mag that offers other neat reads. The media isn't always on TV. I read it. To make mention that collectiong over 300,000.00 is NOT alot for him to make a speech. Really??? People w money and power enjoy sharing their riches. How they pad their pockets. Why even bring up the price, if he wasn't trying boosting his $$$ So Many need help, veterans for example. That 12 mill going to a charity will make for a better Humanitarian, than one who happens to 'drop' the cost of his elevator, or even owning an island of your own...You don't here that Branson guy in the news...check it out THEWEEK.COM and look around...ciao

"The news of Romney's grand addition was in the magazine called "THEWEEK," which is a bi-part mag"

I'm suspicious when a partisan such as yourself claims a magazine is bi-partisan.

"That 12 mill going to a charity will make for a better Humanitarian, than one who happens to 'drop' the cost of his elevator, or even owning an island of your own"

DM...I feel it's just too close to say Obama will get the nod. I'm interested in some races in my state. You know, when Bush in his last year, the unemployment rate was heading upwards, and was stagnant, so the ball was already rolling when Obama took over.
A comment made by the one of the GOP'ers here, running for senate, really hurt Romney's team. His statement ruined his chance for victory.(the senate race) It won't be until tomorrow or the next til we find out who gets the nod...I see this being a good necker....

Dude said...

"Trust me Dude, check out THEWEEK.COM"

Sorry, no offense, but I don't trust you. Nothing personal.

"You know, mister, you just want to keep me busy, when you can check out Barry. I have"

Well then you can provide the proof, right? :-)

"The thing about making donations in charities, you can claim them on your taxes."

And your point? Do you realize that Romney did not claim all the deductions he could have on his tax return? He gives 30% to charity and he overpays his taxes. He is a great example of what rich liberals (Joe Biden) who complain about not paying enough taxes should do. Give more to charity and overpay your taxes. Problem solved. By the way, just because Romney is running against The One does not mean he should be demonized.

"I hear about Biden is he has a son in the war.."

That's no excuse for giving almost nothing to charity. At least Obama gives 22% to charity. Biden, just 1.5%.

Dude said...

I got this from a retired history prof, as well as a lawyer:

From an article on why Romney lost: "Romney lost embarrassingly among young people, African-Americans and Hispanics, a brutal reminder for Republicans that their party is ideologically out of tune with fast-growing segments of the population." But Romney insist that their principles "endure".
That's the problem, Mitt and Repubs - the party platform principles are not aimed at the future or at a raidply growing segment of our population. They are aimed at retread, 1950's whiteymen - not women - men. THAT is the problem . . .

Obama not only won the electoral, and he's favoured to win the popular vote. Like Gore won the popular vote in 2,000, but Bush won the the electoral vote. I did, but I was a little off. It's not 48%, it's 50%. About half of the voters did not vote for Obama (48% Romney + 2% Other). It was 47% in 2008. What's so difficult to understand? Sounds to me like the country is evenly divided.

"kinda a quinky-dink the polls screwed up in FL, don'tcha think????"

I don't think you'll win this argument. How many dead Republicans vote Democrat in Chicago?

Dude said...

"A self-made entrepreneur w no HS graduation, dropping out at 16 to start his first business, Richard Branson; Steve Jobs never graduated from college....i think these two are far from "an Ivy League" background."

Did they run for president? What's your point? I was talking about Obama.

"Yea in Romney's big speech at the RNC, he NEVER thanked our troops."

And Obama may have let 2 soldiers die in Libya by not sending help (or having sufficient help there before the attack). I would bet you a million dollars that soldiers would pick Romney over Obama as their CIC if they had a choice.

"McConnell made it clear last election the GOP'ers were to do everything to make Obama fail...HHmmmm"

You should really stop just spouting Democrat talking points. Obama is just as guilty with regards to bipartisanship failures.

Dude said...

"You don't have to be an "Ivy Leagure" to make $$$$$$$"

What does that have to do with the claim that Obama relates to the peeps? I would argue that the peeps are either picking the lesser of two evils or they are deluding themselves. Most peeps are not rich (like Obama and Romney), Harvard Law graduates (like Obama and Romney), or narcissists (like Obama).

From the Denver Post:
"They're both graduates of Harvard Law School; Romney also has a business degree from the Ivy League university. Each is a multimillionaire, though Romney's estimated $250 million fortune far exceeds Obama's net worth, which is as much as $8.3 million."

Can you relate to someone with a net worth of $8.3 million?

"mcconnell is one of the GOP'ers thats the problem"

The problem is on BOTH sides. Partisans such as yourself like to blame the other side.

I believe that's what Obama and the Democrats wanted you to think. As an Independent, I saw no evidence of that. I saw Romney and Ryan saying what they believe but not saying that they would impose their beliefs on others. Romney was the governor of one of the most liberal states in the USA, so I doubt he's an ultra conservative.

"The deficit is dropping; how many soldiers died looking for WMD??"

Too many. But that was a failure on both sides of the aisle.

"I'd rather keep the movement forward"

Is it forward or is it standing still?

"who under his watch in MASS, had one of the worst unemployment rates (47%)"

Are you sure it was 47% and not 4.7%? Where did you get 47%? From the web: the unemployment rate in Massachusetts was 5.6 percent when Romney took office in January 2003, and it was 4.6 percent when he left office in January 2007.

Neither of them live in the 'real' world.

"Things are moving, not as fast as the Republicans want, and I don't want to use that clichè"

We're stagnant. New jobs are barely keeping up with population growth if that. I have a feeling when Obamacare fully kicks in, the unemployment / underemployment rate will increase.

"I've heard Huffington Post is good."

It's very biased to the left, like Breitbart is to the right.

Not only are we in a world of hurt and really tough times since Obama was reelected, I feel that this is working towards destroying our country which explains why America doesn't seem to be a big player in the end times. I could be wrong, but I feel our country won't be around a whole lot longer and that the end times are quite close.

Although I don't want to suffer too (and may have to depending on when the rapture happens), part of me can't help (as wrong as it is) that the idiots who voted for him suffer the consequences of what they have done Wait until the medical profession wastes away, and they can't get needed medical care. Wait until our country starts having to repay its debt and can't, and then China comes after us. Wait until all of the illegals take over our once great country and we start becoming corrupt and messed up like Mexico and they start getting powers to vote and vote for things for themselves and we become the minority. Wait until all of the people who refuse to work and want to ride the gravy train on the backs of those who do finally break the backs of the ones who are supporting them and no one has any food, houses, etc. Wait until all of the jobs are gone. This might be an extreme post and things may not get quite as bad as I am painting, but do not be deceived that we are in a mess that is only getting much worse.

This is lenghty and I wanted to have the article printed. Bus1) No WMDs

Mr Bush built his entire case for war on the claim that Saddam Hussein possessed weapons of mass destruction. However, he chose to ignore conflicting evidence and forever undermined not only his presidency, but the reputation of US intelligence agencies and his country in much of the world.

2) "Brownie, you're doing a heck of a job"

Mr Bush could not control the weather, but he had control in naming the director of FEMA, the agency in charge of disaster mitigation. His appointee, Mike Brown, was woefully underprepared and failed to facilitate proper aid to the stranded victims of Hurricane Katrina. Despite his tragic miscues, Mr Bush famously told his pall "Brownie, you're doing a heck of a job."

3) No Post-War Plan for Iraq
h's 20 worst mistakes:

pj said...

This is the rest of #3.The outgoing president achieved his goal of ousting Saddam Hussein but had little planned for a destabilised post-Saddam Iraq. After six years, thousands of military casualties, an untold amount of Iraqi civilian deaths, and hundreds of billions of dollars spent, the war is still not over.

4) Permitting Torture

By stating that the Geneva Convention did not apply to "enemy combatants," Mr Bush paved the way for waterboarding, attack dogs, and other draconian interrogation tactics that will forever be associated with his presidency.

5) Ignoring Pre-9/11 Terror Memo

Just weeks before 9/11, while spending a holiday at his ranch in Crawford, Texas, Mr Bush received a memo from the CIA entitled, "Bin Laden Determined To Strike in US". While the President cannot respond to every single threat presented to the country, the timing and nature of this particular warning will forever blight his legacy.

6) "Mission Accomplished"

Mr Bush's bombastic declaration of victory in Iraq while aboard an aircraft carrier in May 2003 was premature to say the least: the vast majority of war casualties have occurred since the unfurling of the "mission accomplished" banner. He has admitted this was one of his biggest mistakes.

7) Entering Iraq without a UN mandate.

After months of deliberation, the UN Security Council could not come to an agreement over the proposed invasion of Iraq. Mr Bush impatiently led a "coalition of the willing" into the country and his decision is still considered by the UN to be illegal.

8) Insisting there was a link between Saddam Hussein and al-Qaeda

Mr Bush aimed to strengthen his case for war by linking the perpetrators of 9/11 to Saddam Hussein. As of today there is little to no evidence supporting his claim.

9) Failing to capture Osama bin Laden

After 9/11, Mr Bush's primary goal was to capture al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden. More than seven years have passed and the only evidence of Bin Laden is a series of grainy video tapes taunting Mr Bush and the United States.

10) Abandoning the Kyoto Protocol

In 2001, Mr Bush refused to sign the Kyoto Protocol, a treaty that requires participating countries to lower their greenhouse gas emissions. He cited its effect on the economy, but the auto industry is already on the brink and global climate change is a real problem. Even merely as a sign of intent, his signature would have been helpful.

11) Refusing to let Katrina ruin his holiday

Hurricane Katrina hit towards the end of a long summer holiday for Mr Bush. His immediate response was not to view the damage personally, but at five miles high through the window of Air Force One on his way back to Washington.

12) Underestimating the cost of the war

Like a contractor's ever-inflating estimates of a home renovation, Mr Bush's original $50-$60 billion price tag on the Iraq war sounds like a steal now. The current cost is closer to $600 billion.

13) Lack of body armour for US troops

Due to the budget constraints of an expensive war, many US troops lacked proper armour for the challenges in Iraq. There have been reports of families turning to eBay to purchase protective gear for their sons and daughters stationed in the Middle East.
14) Failure to include Louisiana's coastal parishes in state of emergency plan

On August 27, 2005, two days before Hurricane Katrina hit, President Bush declared a state of emergency for parts of Louisiana, Alabama, and Mississippi. Not included on that list were the coastal areas of Louisiana that included New Orleans, the city hit hardest by Katrina.

15) Tax cuts for the wealthy

Believing wealthy Americans would take their fortunes to tax shelters, Mr Bush granted large tax cuts to keep their cash in the US. Critics contend it disproved the trickle down theory, as the economy headed into recession.

16) Losing focus on Afghanistan

The early campaign in Afghanistan was relatively successful. Rather than continuing the effort there however, Mr Bush quickly switched focus to Iraq. Many, including President-Elect Barack Obama, believe that a greater presence in Afghanistan would be more effective in the war on terror.

17) Limiting stem cell research

One of President Bush's earliest decisions was to restrict the research of embryonic stem cells. These types of studies have shown tremendous results in lab rats (such as reversing the course of Parkinson's in the rodents). Humans will have to wait for his policy to be annulled before seeing any benefits.

18) Appointment and backing of Alberto Gonzales

Mr Bush appointed an old Texan friend Alberto Gonzales as his Attorney General after the resignation of John Ashcroft. Widely criticised as a sycophantic foil to "Dubya", Mr Gonzales oversaw questionable US attorney dismissals and the NSA's warrantless wiretapping before eventually resigning. Along with Mike Brown, Alberto Gonzales is an example of Mr Bush's perceived penchant for surrounding himself with "yes men" rather than qualified individuals.

19) Awarding lucrative Iraq reconstruction contracts to Halliburton

Halliburton, Vice President Dick Cheney's old employer, received a large reconstruction contract in Iraq shortly after the onset of the war. Rumours of it not having to bid are unfounded, but claims of a conflict of interest remain. In addition, their exportation of the country's oil has been a largely unsuccessful endeavour.

20) Warrantless Wiretapping

Shortly after 9/11, President Bush authorised the warrantless wiretapping of certain telephone calls for the sake of national security. Eavesdropping would often top most Presidents' list of reprehensible acts but Mr Bush, supported by Congress, contended that it helped keep America safe.

I still read the buzz, but haven't posted in months. There was a story I wanted to read, but it's no longer possible to read this one story. I think it's because they got "caught", not the first time, on a story that was so full of "heresay." the last posting on this story, the person was quick to point out all the lies...then went to read it, and couldn't.
