Must be some other Bob Freeman...LOL

Bob asked that it be removed?
Who does Bob ask before he hits the DELETE button on all other things?
Does Bob ask permission to edit comments?

There's some crazy stuff going on over there, or maybe lies, deceit, and hypocrisy would explain the contradictions.

Thanks for posting our photo without permission, looks like your website is calling the kettle black. Haven't you or your guests commented about delisting others work? Good to see you and your guests are no better about duplicating others work without giving credit. I would ask since you don't have permission to post please remove our work. if your unclear of what work, the logo of Columbuzz. Thanks

We have filed a compyright complaint with good.

Sorry "Jeremy", but I have no idea if it's really you or not. Regardless, I've decided to adopt columbuzz's copyright policy:

Copyright Policy

DUDE'S NOTICE AND PROCEDURE FOR MAKING CLAIMS OF COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT

Pursuant to Title 17, United States Code, Section 512(c)(2), all notifications of claimed copyright infringement on Dude's web site or systems should be sent ONLY to our Designated Agent.

Note: The following information is provided exclusively for notifying the service provider referenced below that your copyrighted material may have been infringed. Do not send any inquiries unrelated to copyright infringement (e.g. Requests for technical assistance or customer service, reports of e-mail abuse, etc.) To the contact listed below. You will not receive a response to such inquiries if sent to that contact.

Be advised that under federal law, if you knowingly make a material misrepresentation that online material is infringing, you may be subject to heavy civil penalties. These include monetary damages, court costs, and attorney’s fees incurred by us, by any copyright owner, or by any copyright owner's licensee that is injured as a result of our relying upon your misrepresentation.

Written notification must be submitted to the following Designated Agent:

Under Title 17, United States Code, Section 512(c)(3)(A), the Notification of Claimed Infringement must include the following:

· An electronic or physical signature of the owner or of the person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright interest;

· Identification of the copyrighted work (or works) that you claim has been infringed;

· A description of the material that you claim is infringing, and the location where the original or an authorized copy of the copyrighted work exists (for example, the URL of the web site where it is lawfully posted; the name, edition and pages of a book from which an excerpt was copied, etc.);

· A clear description of where the infringing material is located on our web site, including its URL, so that we can locate the material;

· Your address, telephone number, and e-mail address

· A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and

· A statement by you, made under penalty of perjury, that the above information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the copyright owner's behalf.

"We have filed a compyright complaint with good."

I doubt "good" is going to care about your "compyright" complaint.

By the way Jeremy, read this:

Fair Use

"Fair use, a limitation and exception to the exclusive right granted by copyright law to the author of a creative work, is a doctrine in United States copyright law that allows limited use of copyrighted material without acquiring permission from the rights holders. Examples of fair use include commentary, criticism, news reporting, research, teaching, library archiving and scholarship.

And this:

Parody and Fair Use

Dude said...

Oh, and Jeremy, please make sure you don't forget this part:

Under Title 17, United States Code, Section 512(c)(3)(A), the Notification of Claimed Infringement must include the following:

- Your address, telephone number, and e-mail address

Dude said...

And Jeremy, you should really stop lying:

"Columbuzz allows anyone to post content here."

Secret Santa said...

LOL Dude, you are in especially rare form today.

Anonymous said...

Also, I believe the complaint about your use of copyrighted material centered around using it in such a manner that columbuzz was essentially taking credit for another's work. Dude posted your header to give Bob full credit for his hypocrisy.

Don't strain your neck watching this stuff go over your head.

Columbutts quotes:

"Its not a matter of knowing US, but rather knowing what we stand for and they type person we are. "

We know what kind of people you are.

"You seem to know Tim Miracle. I've never met him. I've only heard the terrible stories about him from about 50 people."

Of course 50 is highly exaggerated, I believe what I hear without checking it out (unless of course it is against Fred or other select cronies), and you have no way of knowing even if the "about 50 people" are even different people or not. IP addresses and email addresses can be changed and even fool "expert" trackers like you.

"I help run a website where folks can tell their stories. I don't make stuff up."

Do you run it or not? Do you have control or not? You may or may not make things up, but you pass along information from others that you don't know is true. It doesn't matter who makes it up if you pass it along.

"I never cheated hundreds of people out of their hard earned money." It isn't from lack of trying with things like the Odometer device, the "get rich quick schemes", the "trip". You just might not be good at it like your archenemy who certainly got you.

"I never screwed a member of my congregation in my 'church' and lied to the rest of the congregation about it."

Maybe not, but you screw over people and lie about it.

"I never allowed people to live in my 'church' after the city said I wasn't allowed to."

Did you not encourage Rutan and his life partner to let people live in their church when they were told they weren't allowed to? Just askin'.

"I never told my 'friends' who they could associate with in life or on Facebook."

No, but you essentially do that by not letting people see for themselves what goes on here and for chastising ex members like Phil and Rick.

"I never had my cronies call someone that runs a website that posts truth and threaten to file a suit against them."

You essentially do that here.

"On the other hand, YOU have never met me."
THANK GOD.

"YOU only go by what you read here. So YOU don't know what you're talking about."

Pot, kettle. At least unlike you, we read your own words instead of listening to what others anonymously tell about you.

"I have NOTHING to hide. Tell truth and it will be posted."

Truth being defined by you as whatever you think or want people to believe. I.E. whatever fits your agenda.

Also someone there did a GREAT job -of cornering Missy on not attending church> I noticed the same thing about her saying she couldn't find good churches to trust, but then saying she sent friends to good churches. Which is it? She either is making excuses for not going or sending friends in churches she doesn't know are good. I wonder what she will have to say.

Dude said...

"She either is making excuses for not going or sending friends in churches she doesn't know are good. I wonder what she will have to say."

She will probably be like Bob and ignore difficult questions.

Columbuzz serves no purpose other than to pass along rumors and gossip about people. How long have they been helping to spread the Tim Miracle rumors? Have they EVER went straight to the source to get some real answers?

LOL no. No they haven't. And they say that they do investigative reporting. Hmmm. I think not.

Why would anyone want to claim ownership of this very amateurish looking logo other than maybe the third grader, etc. that may have created it.

Anonymous said...

We encourage someone with more skill than a 3rd grader to create what would be a sufficient logo of today's time. We would gladly pay $100 to anyone producing a logo we use.

Someone has their panties in a wad.

Dude said...

"If you haven't noticed you might want to inform your visitors, linking to our site from yours has been disabled."

And I care why? If you haven't noticed, I stopped creating links to your site anyway.

If they want an appropriate banner for columbuzz the should use Bob's favorite obscene/fetish photo. "The gathering place for columbutts".

Anonymous said...

I bet you have to pick up your money at Wal-Mart

Anonymous said...

Anyone who believes in, and stands by, their work should welcome links to their site and articles.

"So and so is criticizing my work. Come read it for yourself."

In the same vein, Dude has criticized columbuzz and provided links, in essence saying. "I'm right, here check it out yourself and see."

On the other hand, Bob has criticized this blog and refused to offer a link or even give it's web address. This is because he doesn't believe in honest discourse and wants only his opinion heard.

Columbuzz does is afraid of conflicting opinions because it (mostly Bob Freeman) knows the articles on columbuzz are immature at best and fraudulent at worse.

Those at columbuzz are caught in quite a conundrum. They desperately want their tabloid to grow. Yet, they desperately do not want visitors who might question their sources and/or integrity.

"Need a Windows Key?" - from Columbuzz

WTF?? Columbuzz is now in the business of aiding the pirating of software? I'm not going to give you the link for fear of linking to illegal activities. But go see for yourself.

I'm sure Microsoft would love to hear about this. Absolute morons.

Dude said...

"Columbuzz is now in the business of aiding the pirating of software?"

Remember, Bob is exempt from all laws.

Anonymous said...

We encourage anything from Microsoft, nothing wrong with someone posting Keys to the products. Pirating is the way of the world, nothing will nor can be done. Thanks for visiting.

Anonymous said...

wow.... way to go mr inquisitive. its great to see such a little man think he is better than microsoft and promote federal crimes. i am looking forward to talking to some people at microsoft [1-800 RU-LEGIT] is their number by the way. i went ahead and saved your page, so they can get a good look at it when i call them tomorrow. i will be sharing your comment here with them as well. have a great evening, thank you so much for brightening my day.

Anonymous said...

Let them know, we have more! Again when you speak to them tell them GOOD LUCK! Those keys are not a secret among the internet.

danny palmer said...

Well i see Bob changed my post again.
Hey Bob i said you would make a great CLOWN
for 9th st party. Not myself as you changed my post on colscum

Dude said...

"Pirating is the way of the world, nothing will nor can be done."

This is coming from someone running a "whistle blowing" website? Hypocrite.

Anonymous said...

Surely you're not this ignorant of the law when it comes to software piracy. Oh my.

It matters not that what you're providing is "not a secret among the internet." Just the fact that you're providing it. Did you ever think that where you found those are from non-US websites that Microsoft has difficulty pursuing?

lol You've served yourselves up on a platter to quite the adversary this time. This should be fun to watch.

Anonymous said...

They'll be lucky to get a cease and desist. But with it being Microsoft I don't think that's going to happen.

Who in the world told you that this was legal?

Anonymous said...

Columbuzz has developed a mascot and changed its banner since Dude showed it's old banner makes Bob a liar.

Of course the mascot's name (Mr. Buzzy) is incredibly stupid and apparently not original. Mr. Buzzy is a vibrator with its own facebook page. (probably where Bob got the idea given his fetish with anus').

A quick google search showed its main drawback is its too loud. How appropriate. I knew Bob was a douche..... now he's a vibrating anal douche.

Anonymous said...

I am ready for dinner, lets hope they serve appetizers too.

Dude said...

Don't declare victory just yet, Jeremy. The counter claim has yet to be processed.

Anonymous said...

lets see, talked to some nice folks at microsoft, up to $150,000 fine in civil court per violation, and each key is a separate crime... carry the one.... it adds up to a nice lawsuit. interestingly enough, the one lady i talked to said she had received 4 separate calls about the site, and it had already been transfered to the legal division. great attitude and stance on piracy. hope you have a good attorney.

Anonymous said...

awwww shucks, they removed their page promoting obvious illegal activities. wonder why.... what happened to the stance of 'Pirating is the way of the world, nothing will nor can be done.' thats all right, microsoft has cached copies of the page, as well as screenshots of it.

Anonymous said...

You counter claim will be denied, you don't own the works. If you click the link it has been removed from Google Servers.

Anonymous said...

We removed it because we were asked by an advertiser to take it down. We don't post all articles on Columbuzz. We don't care what is cached, or copied. We as moderators aren't responsible for content posted, we can if we chose remove content. The joys of being an admin.

Dude said...

"You counter claim will be denied, you don't own the works. If you click the link it has been removed from Google Servers."

Jeremy, as usual, you don't have a clue. It doesn't matter that I don't own the rights to your lame logo. Do you understand "Fair Use"?

Copyright and Fair Use

Currently, Google has no idea if your claim is even valid or not. They are just protecting themselves from a possible lawsuit.

Dude said...

"We removed it because we were asked by an advertiser to take it down."

Sample Insurance Agency?

"We don't post all articles on Columbuzz. We don't care what is cached, or copied. We as moderators aren't responsible for content posted, we can if we chose remove content. The joys of being an admin."

So Jeremy, if Microsoft comes calling, which bot are you going to throw under the bus?

Dude said...

"If you click the link it has been removed from Google Servers."

And again Jeremy, you show your ignorance and stupidity. Your logo was not deleted from my blog. Google set the status of my blog post back to draft, so I could still view my post (with the logo still there) but others could not. I deleted the logo as a courtesy to Google pending the outcome of the counter claim.
