I've developed a new theory about Bob. Maybe he really isn't a raving lunatic. Now before you tell me that I'm talking crazy, hear me out. After the Mayor was re-elected, what if he appointed Bob the official Columbus Village Idiot but just decided to skip the ceremony and didn't tell anyone except for Bob and the bots? I mean seriously, no one can be as crazy and idiotic as Bob and not be committed to a mental institution. It's just not possible. So I believe that this is the only possible explanation. We all know how Bob takes his job seriously, testing concrete with his head and all. I believe he has also taken his appointment just as seriously, since he would do anything for the Mayor. It's well known that Bob has a huge man-crush on the Mayor, so he would do anything to make the Mayor proud of him. I also believe that Bob has dedicated himself to become the most idiotic Village Idiot that Columbus has ever seen. I would argue that he has accomplished this incredible feat and then some. Can you remember any of the past Village Idiots even approaching the level of idiocy as Bob? I certainly can not. He's in a class all by himself.

I seriously think you are on to something. Allow me to explain. Fred Armstrong is not a fool and clearly recognized a long time ago that Bob Freeman is "THE" Columbus Idiot and at the same time, regardless of what they say, Jeremy Putz is Bob's #1 bot and tag-along. The Mayor, wisely, appoints Bob to the Animal Control Commission knowing that he cannot really do any damage there but it will "give him something to do."
Fred Armstrong and Jamie Johns, if nothing else, have propped Bob up just enough to give all of us comic relief on an almost daily basis. Fred and Jamie, like the rest of us, enjoy watching the Columbus Town Joke Bob slowly (painfully slowly) self-destruct in front of our eyes!

If they're not careful, Bob will drag the Democratic party down with him, if he hasn't already. Fred and Jaime need to put a muzzle on Bob, if that's even possible.
Dude, Fred "knows" the state of the Democratic party in Bartholomew County. Republicans control the politics here so in all honesty, the idea that Bob could do "more" damage is not likely.
Jamie has the task of bringing up the Titanic from the ocean floor...it's just not going to happen. Muzzling that fat-mouth Bob will be done by a judge who will probably school ole fat-boy in slander and malicious content.

The Democratic Party is going down because they have become so divisive and politically polar. Ever since Jaime got in there, it has become a "nobody but extreme liberals allowed" party. With Gary Bell, you had various people running for office and he supported all primary candidates (or atleast he didn't outright support one. I cannot speak for every single case). Get ready for the Chicago stlye Obama politics to start back up in Columbus this November and in the next election. It's going to get really dirty. It already has when you have Jessie Hill telling a well established company in Columbus that they are the reason the downtown stinks and berates them in a public meeting for caring about the safety of young people at the proposed outdoor sports complex site.
This party hates HATES private business and enterprise and wants Columbus (especially downtown) to be under total control of the City government. I say this because of various statements that have been made by the current mayor, and other candidates/supporters of secret organizations created by the City (CDI).
Phil, Jamie Johns is chairman of the Democrat Party because he wants the 911 ambulance contract. Period. It's as simple as that. He has his talons in Kristen Brown and Frank Jerome who believe that because he can offer STAT for FREE than it's better than paying a service like CRH.
Jamie has his bases covered because any DEM who might get elected (even though Priscilla doesn't have a chance) will be beholden to him. He has his bases covered pretty well this time so I foresee STAT becoming the 911 provider and Jamie handing off the DEM party to the next loser in line.
Jamie Johns will come out the winner in 2012 regardless of who wins. That's just a fact.

How can STAT provide 911 service for free when no one else has been able to offer this? Do you remember when the city accepted bids from various ambulance services for the contract? CRH was chosen because no other service could offer what CRH could for the price.
