We've heard these stories before from Jeremy's daddy Bob when he was having a psychopathic moment...

Dude said...

I will always remain skeptical no matter what, but I believe there is still a tiny bit of hope for Jeremy (Bob, not so much). If Darth Vader can turn out to be a good guy, then Jeremy still has a chance. But I think the Emperor Bob is hopeless.

Anonymous said...

Someone over there is talking about a law suit.

Using the words "conspiracy" and "malice".

They are so far out of touch with reality, it is comical.

Dude said...

Yeah, that comment was absolutely hilarious. I laughed, my lawyer laughed, Mercman probably laughed. I believe this is columbuzz's biggest problem. They actually listen to these crackpots. And wasn't that comment off topic anyway?

Anonymous said...

Columbuzz launching lawsuits? These are the same people that go to Wal-Mart looking for money hidden behind cans of beans? Priceless!

Mercman said...

"Mercman probably laughed."

I did.

Jeremy said...

I did what I felt was best overall for all parties. Motive or not, skeptical or not, I have no agenda.

Anonymous said...

Sounds like half an apology with disclaimer... dislike

at least it is item one...

Dude said...

Based on your past history, it sure looked like your agenda was to harass me and my family, but we could argue that forever and never come to agreement.

Jeremy, you have a choice to make. Do you want columbuzz to be a legitimate website, one that you can be proud of? One that attracts advertising or one that repels it? Or do you want one that's a disaster subject to ridicule and possible legal action? If you want legitimacy, then you need to take control of your site and clean it up. If that happens, then I will have nothing left to blog about.

Dude said...

"Sounds like half an apology with disclaimer... dislike"

I agree. My wife is still very unhappy.

Anonymous said...

I am sure she is!

Not cool!! Jeremy, Jeremy, Jeremy.

Anonymous said...

Taking the argument to a man's family and attacking them is the lowest of low. It's a reprehensible tactic. You're young though and I at least can understand your immaturity is what lead you to do it.

Your public apology for it is admirable and is the right thing to do. Though if I was in Dude's shoes I'm not sure if that would be enough.

Anonymous said...

"...if I was in Dude's shoes I'm not sure if that would be enough."

I don't think it is enough. It is a start.. However, I am not "Dude", so I am guessing on this.

Dude said...

"I don't think it is enough. It is a start."

It falls a little short in my opinion. My wife and I will be discussing tonight whether it's enough or not.

Dude said...

Jeremy, this comment from columbuzz is exactly what I'm talking about:

"My name is Chris Chambers.
I is a fire man.
I like to stir shit.
I'm too stupid to know what caller ID is.
If you advertise on this site, I won't hire you to excavate my yard.
or mow my grass....
or insure my hut....
I is a bad guy. Wooom wooom! I wide in a fi-wa twuck...
Oh, and I has a camera and can take pictures too."

No one will ever take your site seriously with immature stunts like this.

Anonymous said...

I am sure "Dudette" would appreciate that.

For their sake, I sure hope that they're correct about those posts being from Chris Chambers. If not, that's pretty clear defamation of character in my opinion.

Regardless, just delete the post if it violates site rules. You guys look like vengeful little kids running a website when you post stuff like that.

I removed that comment, I just got home from class.

This has Bob Freeman written all over it.

Bob needs to Go said...

I have always pretty much considered Jeremy as being a somewhat harmless pest that likes to stretch the envelope as far as possible before backing off, that is until recently and his Freemanization which would seem to have resulted in his attempted Cyber-Bullying of Mrs. Dude.

Dude said...

Bob Freeman is not a good role model for Jeremy. He's probably going to get Jeremy in a lot of trouble someday.

Dude said...

"I removed that comment, I just got home from class."

I hope you're attending a class on responsible website administration.

Anonymous said...

So the pictures of the friends and family of Dude are restricted to all those but the friends of Jeremy and Bob Freeman? Aren't those the people you should be afraid of? Nice try jeremy and bob.

By the way. Someone please post the columbuzz advertiser that told them Chris complained. I will not only boycott them, I will actively campaign against them. I post as anonymous now but when I. Do this everyone will know. Columbuzz can do their worse. Bring it. I need a new car.

Dude said...

Based on the comment from columbuzz, it was probably either Rick Miller or Pam Sample, but that's just a total guess on my part. And I didn't type that in caps, so obviously I'm not sure if it's TRUTH or not. Although, I haven't seen Pam Sample's advertisement on columbuzz in a while, so maybe she finally got smart.

Anonymous said...

Pam's advertisment is on still

Dude said...

"Pam's advertisment is on still"

Well then I guess she hasn't wisened up yet.

Ricky Berkey said...

I would avoid doing business with any of his advertisers but don't plan on calling them. I do intend on asking the management of the pizza place that I'm a semi-regular customer of if they are even aware of what Columbuzz is all about. It's my right as a consumer to make judgments about a business based on where they choose to advertise. It's also my right to call them and make my feelings known if I choose to.

Anonymous said...

I've already gone to the pizza place and used my name. If it shows up I'll know who to sue

This is why Columbuzz is not anything remotely like Journalism. Journalism 101 teaches that though things may be public, it may not be right nor legal to post it, especially in a piece like that.

The info on somone's wife is NEVER fair game. Totally unethical and totally wrong. Let it be known that Columbuzz is nothing more than a flame and troll tool for the Democratic Party of Bartholomew County.

It's hard to take people seriously when they haven't learned grammar that is taught in 3rd grade.

Ricky Berkey said...

He already had the "truth" laid out and waiting apparently since Jeremy mentioned earlier in one of his revenge rants that he knew my employer ;)

Anonymous said...

"...since Jeremy mentioned earlier in one of his revenge rants that he knew my employer ;)

My employer is ready to take charge and fight. Is your employer ready to do the same?

Just wondering...

Dude said...

"Had a nice chat with Bob. He has promised to expose me and wage a publicity war against me."

I'm shocked! I'm sure Bob would NEVER do something like that.

Dude said...

"He has promised to wage a publicity war against me."

How can he do that when he has zero credibility and only a few people that actually take columbuzz seriously?

Ricky Berkey said...

I spoke to the "good Bob" and he assured me that our differences are over and that Jeremy has removed the particular information from Columbuzz that cause me to speak out against them in the first place rather than just ignoring them. We shall see.

Anonymous said...

Bob Freeman CANNOT be trusted.

He has PROVEN that many times.

Bob is a nobody who tries to become a somebody at the expense of others.
No morals, no ethics, just self-glorification.

Look at how he posted several entries on Columbuzz about how he is pulling weeds on STATE OWNED PROPERTY.
He thinks this makes him a good citizen.

Maybe I don't like the way he has done it. Maybe I will take it upon myself (as he did) to change the type or color of mulch. I have just as much right as he does to stick my nose into it.

But I won't brag about it, as if this makes me a community hero.

Anonymous said...

That's the thing. Every time Bob does stuff like that he has to tell everyone about it. People who do good for the sake of just doing good are humble about it. Bob is the polar opposite of humble.

Ken Nunn said...

Orchids to ...

Bob Freeman for clearing out the weeds and mulching Discover Columbus despite your already busy schedule, from Lucy.
WOW BOB AND HIS BOT

Anonymous said...

When the citizens of Columbus refuse to elect Bob to serve them, he interjects himself in the only way possible, by doing the Discover thing.

Technically, he is trespassing.

He has claimed this as his own.

Typical megalomaniac behavior.
Take what is not yours and make it your own, DESPITE what the People say.

Hey, Bob....
...how about you serve the community by going around to every local park with a shovel and a Baggie, and pick up dog poop?

It was a real treat to meet my bob-o-bots.
The bad times had just started when the police stopped by and shut our bob-o-bot sex party down.

I had no idea you did that, Bob! I think that's great of you to donate your time to make our city look great. You're a busy man. The red mulch looks better!
Bob Freeman on 11 June, 2011 10:12:48

Thank you Stacy. It's become a hobby of mine. It looks so good with a little work and I hate to see it get overgrown with weeds.

It was also a real pleasure to meet you and all the others today. I hope to see you a lot in the future...
LOOKS LIKE BOBS TALKING TO HIMSELF AGAIN LMAO

I think Bob is a figment of his own imagination.

Seriously.

He should be on medication.

Anonymous said...

Ricky,

How appropriate you called it the "good Bob". I'm sure you will have to deal with the good Bob and the bad Bob alternately. Sometimes within hours of eachother. We've joked that Bob has multiple personality issues. Actually its more of a concern than joke.

Ricky Berkey said...

I spoke to Bob at the Farmers Market on Saturday (he actually has a legitimate product he is trying to sell for a change). He went back and forth from "Good Bob" to "Bad Bob" multiple times in our short conversation! He also had trouble remembering the details of our Facebook chat which had occurred minutes earlier. He has much difficulty distinguishing between what he says/does vs what Jeremy says/does. Jeremy of course takes the blame for any "Bad Bob" decisions. Joanna and the "Bob Bots" of course tolerate no criticism of Columbuzz. If they post a comment, they will usually change it/twist it to suit their needs and delete it all later. They have a great deal of trouble understanding truth vs fiction. While I should be smart enough to hop off the Crazy Train, it is all just too fascinating to resist ;)

Onions To Me said...

Id like to send an onion out to myself. I haven't mocked Bob, Jeremy or that piece of trash gossip column/website they run. You see, I feel it is incumbent upon me, as a responsible member of the community, to help point out the lies, hypocrisy and bullying of columbuzz.

So onions to me. I will be sure to correct this directly. Perhaps I will take it upon myself to change its look though I have no legal right to do so. Then when I'm done I'll humbly announce to the world my "good deed" while privately I promise to wage a publicity war and smear campaign. I'm sure I can find some upstanding citizen who's done nothing to me except ask I don't use his name. That's just the candy my ego needs.

Dude said...

"He went back and forth from "Good Bob" to "Bad Bob" multiple times in our short conversation!"

That sounds familiar.

"He also had trouble remembering the details of our Facebook chat which had occurred minutes earlier."

That also sounds familiar.

"Jeremy of course takes the blame for any "Bad Bob" decisions."

I believe Bob has set Jeremy up to be the columbuzz patsy, but Jeremy has yet to figure that out.

"If they post a comment, they will usually change it/twist it to suit their needs and delete it all later."

That's how they roll.

"They have a great deal of trouble understanding truth vs fiction."

Truer words have never been spoken.

"While I should be smart enough to hop off the Crazy Train"

Me too.

"it is all just too fascinating to resist"

Yes. Yes it is.

Ricky Berkey said...

Bob just can't understand how he has so many critics when he does so many wonderful things. He would like to pretend that it's all one person waging war against him but he has a legion of people he has smeared, insulted and libeled. The "proof" is always just days away from being unveiled. I'm not convinced that "Good Bob" even knows what "Bad Bob" is doing.

Dude said...

"Bob just can't understand how he has so many critics when he does so many wonderful things."

I think part of the problem is that Bob has surrounded himself with yes-bots. They probably tell him exactly what he wants to hear and no contrary opinions or viewpoints are ever expressed by anyone within the bot community.

Dude said...

"I spoke to Bob at the Farmers Market on Saturday (he actually has a legitimate product he is trying to sell for a change)."

It's not an odometer tampering device, is it? :-)

Ricky Berkey said...

It's some sort of crafty project. I didn't want to involve his family/friends at his table in our conversation. He was standing off to the side.

I've never actually seen any ads for his odometer device he was selling but I remember several Internet money making schemes he has pushed in the past. Seemed like shady stuff for someone trying to seek an elected office although I'm not accusing him of doing anything illegal.

Anonymous said...

Unless he added "crafts" he didn't have last week, it looked like he was selling simple wall plaques made from a mold. Something like my kid brings home from camp.

Not exactly original but at least honest.

Ricky Berkey said...

Yes, plaster or concrete face plaques to use in the garden I suppose. An honest product indeed. Someone described it somewhere as "the many faces of Bob". I probably better get one as a keepsake.

Anonymous said...

" Someone described it somewhere as "the many faces of Bob"."

Something to scare the crows away!!

Worthless Bobby Freeman said...

Thank you Stacy. It's become a hobby of mine.
what you mow weeds one time and its your hobby?
lmao... bob will do anything to be in the spot light.
The city helps with mulch and they let me know they appreciate the effort. i bet they did lmao/
This is something the people of Columbus should be proud to have, not if it has anything to do with Bob Freeman`s stuipd ass ......

BOB FREEMAN SAID:

"Today, I decided to make a surprise stop and go meet someone that I have admired since she and I first met on here.

I don't want to say her name. I don't need to say why we know each other. That doesn't matter.

But we have recently, say in the last year or so, become close on here, but we have never met in person."

Was this someone from Interpals.net?

Maybe Jeremy should email Bob's wife to let her know what Bob is doing.

Also....

Columbus Man = Mr. Inquisitive = Joanna Nichols

And anything Bob is trying to sell you can bet is not original, and probably copied, stolen, or illegal.

Anonymous said...

Delusional Bob has a group of friends that are happy to see him, so happy they dance for him?

Bob's mind is a fantasy world I'm glad I'm not a part of.

"My name's Bob. Look at me! I have a bunch of friends that love me soooo much! They are so happy to see me walk into a room, they dance for me! I'm going to tell the world! I am so popular! Weeeee!"

Hilarious.

Anonymous said...

"I believe Bob has set Jeremy up to be the columbuzz patsy, but Jeremy has yet to figure that out."

I agree. Jeremy is going to get thrown under the bus, while Bob sits back and smiles and plans his next plan of attack on someone else.

Anonymous said...

Isn't this a pattern? Colunbuzz owner is irresponsible and libelous until the reaction is too much and he passes the torch. Then that owner is irresponsible and libelous until he passes the torch. Now the new owner is crossing boundaries. Difference is 2nd owner (Bob) hasn't backed out and continues his reckless and despicable behavior at the new owner's peril.

Welcome to the club Ricky! I don't know how that private conversation with bob went but I have read here your comments. Notice how he picked and chose your words to meet his agenda. Well at least now he can add your group of friends who know the truth about his lies.

Just like he can add my group of friends (plus others). Then th ey add their group of friends etc etc etc.

Soon no one will every believe him again.

Btw. Notice how he blamed Jeremy for attacking you? I believe Bob is the author of the article mocking you when your chapter in this sorry saga began.
