I have to chuckle a bit at the crh pic, there is no handicap vertical sign in the pic, and as one of the comments on his page pointed out, that is a requirement, both horizontal and vertical signs, and yes bob, that is a FACT - per indiana code: Indiana Code 5-16-9-4A requires a sign at least 4 feet from the ground must be posted in front of each handicapped parking spot. The sign must have the handicapped symbol along with words declaring the spot as reserved for the handicapped in a size that can be read by a car pulling into the spot.

i hate when people that are not handicap park in handicap reserved spaces, but what is even more fun? not being handicap and parking in spaces that are not properly marked and going in, talking to the manager, and having them realize that something needs to be fixed. often, they are appreciative and get it fixed so they are in compliance with indiana codes. and no, parking in a spot that is not properly marked is not illegal for the person parking there, simply because they are not parking in a properly marked space. some businesses will make courtesy spaces instead of true properly marked spaces because of the cost of signs.

Columbus Regional Hospital Ambulance EMTS lost their accreditation and now have a lower score than Stat.

Higher certification now than they had. And more freedom to dispense drugs as needed without a doctors permission in an emergency situation.
