Columbuzz Hacked?

Jeremy wrote on his Facebook page:
"Website was hacked and it has to be rebuilt. It should be back up Thursday night."

Bob wrote on this blog:
"Someone hacked the site and shut it down."

Then Jeremy wrote on Facebook:
"...we was not hacked but rather had a data error in our database."

We was?  I'm glad they didn't jump to conclusions that their website was hacked! Anyone else think Jeremy has no clue what he's doing?

I don't know Jeremy but anyone in bed with Bob clearly has no clue about what they are doing.

Data error = data removed

Take away Bob's admin privileges.

maybe if they didn't piss so many people off they wouldn't have to worry about people hacking in and crushing their database and flooding them. just a thought.

The only hacking that should have been done to Bob was missed a long time ago. His mother should have hacked on the rancid load that produced him.

OH NO! No more reports from "Bob, the Investigative Reporter."

Who is Jeremy? Anyone?

Dude said...

Jeremy Kirtz, admin of columbuzz.

Thanks Dude! What is known about Jeremy? Is Columbuzz his FT employment? What is his background?

Dude said...

All I know about Jeremy is that he's an incompetent web admin and has problems with the English language.

ROFLMAO

Agreed. I traced the phone number on Columbuzz and it is located in Patoka, Indiana which is in far southern Indiana. It's likely a service provider or mirror of the actual address.

Congratulations to this blog.

Watching those wannabe watchdogs, and blowing the whistle on the so-called whistle blowers, has caused Freaky Freeman to remove the photo that was obviously used as a racially motivated jab at the subject of the 'story'.

Mr. IQ tried to explain his way out of it, but the attempt was transparent, flawed, and dim-witted.

This guy needs to be placed in a rubber room.

I have some "news" for Freeman and other "political opportunists" who seem to have crawled out from under a rock, regardless of political party. I have a lot of time on my hands to crawl as far up you a$$ as I need to uncover your motives and hidden alliances.

Like you all, I will choose where I release this information and this forum seems appropriate. You had better pay close attention to your actions, motives, affiliations, contributions and alliances! I sure as hell am.

Tor/Vidalia is another program that gives Columbuzz fits. You can post using all the names you want on Columbuzz and there is no way in hell they can track you.

funny, i have a friend that owns a server, and hosts several websites, and one thing i have learned from hearing him is that no matter what, be sure to backup daily. that way, no matter what at worst, your site is no more than 48 hrs out of date. the daily, plus what ever time a crash may have occurred. all good web admins know this. this is one reason i seem to think it was a hack, not a database issue. plus, if the database crashed, why was so much data back like it was? hmm... probably because that was not the issue. i'd bet a DOS (denial of service) flood attack. granted, i am just one of those dumb folk that didn't vote for bob so i don't know nothing.

Denial of service attacks are elementary hacking. It's likely that Columbuzz went down because of this. Hard to tell. They would never admit what happened anyway and if they tried to tell us what happened, it probably would not be right.

I usually hack when I read columbuzzed

@Anonymous - that is just excellent! LOL!!

"Our tech guy seems to think it's hardware or software troubles but I wonder if it's some yo-yo attacking us."

so, their new tech guy has no clue at all from the sounds of it.

Patience patience. COLUMBUZZ.NET is being repaired and improved.
Soon everyone will able to use a good website again....

"COLUMBUZZ.NET is being repaired and improved."

Improved! That's great! I guess that means Bob will no longer submit "articles" and comments. That will be a 1000% improvement!

"Soon everyone will able to use a good website again.... "

If by writing good, you really mean awful, then I agree.

Columbuzz is a good website just like The Bob Show was a good show.

There is nothing enlightening about Columbuzz. There is nothing posted there that is newsworthy or informative. On the other hand, it is an example of just how plain stupid some people can be. The people who write "articles" that appear should enroll in a high school journalism course. Columbuzz is a joke.

This is better than watching the Three Stooges!
