I Think Bob Wants a Medal

http://columbus1.ath.cx/index.php?news=5788

Bob wrote on columbuzz:
"Columbuzz.net Works! We Help Solve Problems."

Every once in a while, but I think they create more problems than they solve.

"People reported a problem. We annonced that problem here on Columbuzz.net. The financial report was published again and hopefully it is correct this time. This shows that reporting facts to the people that are involved gets things done and problems solved. People reported this to us without anyone nowing who they are. We posted it here only, and the right people saw the problem and made the corrections."

Bob still doesn't get it.  It's how he attempts to solve problems.  Did he try to solve the problem privately or did he grandstand on columbuzz?  Let's examine how Bob attempted to solve the problem of what appears to be a simple mistake:

"Columbus Township Trustee Fred Barkes, once again, turned in an annual report that was incomplete, misleading, and flatout wrong."

"If it matches the one in paper, he filed a false and incomplete report. If it doesn't match and includes more information that what was posted in the paper, he is still wrong for posting a partial report."

"Fred Barkes is not doing his job properly. Fred Barkes needs to be held accountable for not doing the job he has been elected to do."

"He hasn't passed a SBOA audit without issues since he has been in office. Apparently, they accept his nonsense and expect his incompetence, because they never do anything to stop it."

"Fred Barkes is either too stupid to follow those rules or he thinks he doesn't need to follow those rules."

"It's time that we file formal complaints with the state and maybe even with the local prosecutor."

"Enough is enough!"

"If he can't do the job as he is supposed to do the job, let's get him out and get someone in there that can and will do the job right."

Bob really tries to seize a moment. Even before his posting, the Republic sent me an e-mail informing of the difference in the size of the 2010 file vs. 2009. I recreated the 2010 file, sent it to the Republic and was awaiting the reprint when Bob made his posting. The bottom line is that can’t take credit for any of it.

I'm sure Bob won't let the facts get in the way of him taking credit anyway.

THis is the truth. However, the SBOA is really there to point out error and demand correction or execute correction to make the books balanced or complete or legal.

I would like a Trustee who can get his books straight and who can follow the rules.

Let's not be too hasty in electing the hand that is waving in the air the most energetically, though.

I did not see a good candidate for the last trustee election, but I would rather have the one we have now in there. Maybe next time a better one will show up. One who runs on fact and issues, not on calling someone's wife a whore.

Next Columbuzz will report that the streets should be cleaned after snow. Then when the city does it, it will be only because Bob and the almighty Columbuzz said it should be done. Wow, the power they hold. Maybe they should report that gas prices should go down, there should be peace, no one should go hungry, there should be houses for everyone etc. and change the world.

I am sure the peace in the middle east is because they reported it (rolls eyes). Well, that and Obama (hurl).

Lets make sure this is understood, Bob just reported that Fred sent an incomplete file to THE REPUBLIC! Not to the SBOA. The Republic informed him there was an error in transmission and he resent it. Good Work Bob!!!!! I hope someone is there to tell you the next time an electronic file has to be resent.

Love it! Isn't that how it is though? hahahaha.

Bob has made some horrible knee jerk reactions, but that is one of the best. If he's done this for a while, he should have checked SBOA instead of the REpublic. Bob's becoming a Tertiary source now, and he's not doing a very good job of it.
