I found this link online. It details the staff of the trustee's office and their fear of Bob Freeman and his threats as long ago as last January. Before he was a candidate for next week's election. http://www.bartholomewco.com/forms_center.php/min-2010-01-19.pdf?file_id=717&folder_id=&action=download&sid=

COLUMBUS TOWNSHIP, BARTHOLOMEW COUNTY

President, Steve Combs called the meeting at 1333 Washington Street, Columbus Township Trustee’s Office to order at 4:10 P.M Present with Combs were Board members Ken Greenlee and Barry Davis as well as Trustee Frederick Barkes and staff members Sandy Barkes, Roxanne Stallworth, Curt Handley, Briana Ferrenburg, Rodney Ferrenburg and Jonita London. No members of the Public were present.
Caseworker Roxanne Stallworth asked to address the Board in regards to a website recently posted by a Bob Freeman. Mr. Freeman’s website is about the Trustee’s Office and is an angry, threatening, full of hate towards the Trustee and his employees. She described actions that her family are taking to protect themselves from this man that no one in the Trustee’s Office has ever met. Other employees also expressed their concerns to the Board. Trustee Barkes has advised the website has been turned over to the Township’s Attorney to review. The Board discussed other options that should be taken in regards to this situation.
The Business portion of the meeting was opened by President, Steve Combs at 5:10 p.m.
Combs made a motion to accept the minutes of the January 4th, 2010 meeting, so moved by Barry Davis with a second by Ken Greenlee. Motion carried.
The next item of business was the presentation of the Annual Report given by Trustee Barkes. Each form was read and explained by the Trustee. There was discussion on areas where there were any questions. The listing of disbursements by vendors was read by everyone. Greenlee made a motion to accept the “Annual Report” with a second by Davis. Motion carried. Copies of the form were given to the Board Members and the orignal Form signed by Board Members and the Trustee.
